Weight today is 1540grams, so she's put on 20 grams overnight.
Pressure of CPAP still remains at 5. Feeds are at 30ml. Her oxygen is sitting between 26-30, which the doctors aren't too concerned about.
Was a bit upset today because I didn't get a cuddle of Amelia today, a new baby was admitted. It was a bit disappointing because I was supposed to try breastfeeding her again, didn't happen at all. The nurse didn't want to get her out. :(
Day 35
Pressure of CPAP was put up to 6 again, because Amelia's oxygen requirements are increasing :( They think that it is because she is anaemic. They ran a Hb test and it came back in the low 80s so she needed a 'top up' today.
She was on my breast ... TRYING to suck... for all of five mins before they decided to put her back in the cot, and start trying to find a vein for her fluids and to start the transfusion. This is her second one. The last one she had was on the 21st Dec... (Two weeks ago today!) They need to start doing something about her iron... She cant just keep having transfusions.
When she has finished her transfusion, she will be getting 32mls of milk at level 1 (calories) every 3 hours.
Amelia has put on weight. She is sitting at 1610 grams today- A MASSIVE 70grams OVERNIGHT!!! Amazing. My clever girl <3

Boo at the nurses not wanting to get her out :( Stand your ground hun, she is your baby not theirs!
